I am nearly 40. I just gained 40 pounds. If I do the math correctly, let me think... carry the one... that means I only have 3 more years to develop a good personality.
Do you mean that in 3 years you'll gain 3 more pounds? Because if 40=40 lbs, 3 more years would just mean 3 more lbs. Maybe say in what time frame you've gained the 40 lbs. Like if you gained it in the last four years, in 3 more years you'll gain another 30.
